The furor has calmed down some and the hypocritical outrage has ceased but still there are murmurs about it in the news and other outlets who seem to care more about it than the general public. That is the 'story' about Tiger Woods' love affairs and Jesse James', former husband of media darling Sandra Bullock, his infidelities. Why these stories were ever news I couldn't wager why, but the story provided fodder for not just the tabloids but regular news outlets who gave seemingly round the clock reports on any change in the situation or status updates as they became available. Evidently somebody thought it was big news for the story never let up (especially about Tiger Woods) where everyone was trying to jump on the media bandwagon and give their spin on it. Howard Stern even invited Tiger's ex's to a 'beauty' pageant on his show which is typical of Howard Stern's tasteless humor, but the other 'legitimate' news outlets, what is their excuse? Now because of the 'over-reporting' of stories that were truly little more than domestic issues, both Tiger Woods and Jesse James are looking at the dissolution of their marriages. You say they have no one to blame but themselves? Maybe, but I truly feel that the media is more culpable than either one of them for had they not made names for themselves this personal matter wouldn't have made the six o'clock evening news in their home towns much less the WORLD news.
Tiger Woods is recognized as a true master of the game of golf. He's the best there is at it and probably the best that there will ever be in it. He does things on the golf court only Dr. J could do on the basketball court. He's the Michael Jordan of the green and no one can best his record on the links. Full of natural talent, he's also put a lot of hard work into learning his craft and endured much indignity to get to the point where he is so highly valued and well-paid for his efforts. These are the things we know about Tiger Woods and these are the only things we SHOULD know about Tiger Woods. Yes it's bad that he was running around on his wife, but attention from the ladies is one of the perks that fame brings! It's been going on for centuries where men(and women) of high regard and standing had their pick of the litter. Women come to them because everyone likes winners and sometimes to spend a little time with them is the only way they can get close to the greatness that these men inspire and achieve. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that's the way it is. What you think many of the other golfers aren't doing the same thing? The hockey players? Fighter pilots? Pro-wrestlers? If one ever goes to these events, even polo matches, there is never a shortage of women or men who are there with one specific purpose in mind; to meet their heroes any way they can and do for them whatever will put them on the inside of their world. So why are they kicking Tiger around?
Jesse James is a talented builder of choppers and bikes and has built his career around his talent for building bikes. I used to watch his show West Coast Choppers and I must admit though I've never been really interested in motorcycles, I would buy one of his bikes if I could afford it. A stocky tattooed man and well-spoken for a blue collar warrior like himself, he made his show as big a hit as his bike shop. A self-made man both handsome and successful naturally he got the attention of the ladies. How he met them is no crime either for people go to dating sites everyday looking for potential lovers and they're not being maligned in the press. And many of them doing this are MARRIED too! But unlike Tiger Woods, the problem with Jesse was that he was married to Sandra Bullock America's Sweetheart. Naturally he shouldn't have had any urge to cheat being he was lucky enough to snag 'America's Sweetheart.' Now I don't mean any harm to Sandra for she is one of my favorite stars in Hollywood, but Sandra's just another woman. Yeah she makes great movies and get paid more than a lot of small countries make in a year, but like anyone else once she's been experienced even she can't beat a NEW experience. Hey, I'm not trying to be cruel, I'm just telling it how it is. And it's not that Jesse didn't love her I'm sure; he just wanted a new experience. It's hard for women to understand but like Jean Simmons of KISS said, women have this dream of a man who doesn't exist. Someone who loves only them above all others and desires nobody but them. Unless such men exist on Mars, you're not going to find them here on earth.
Well everyone knows by now that Tiger Woods was in this sex-addiction clinic trying to save his marriage and apparently to no avail for the whole media world (the public really doesn't care) is screaming for Elin to divorce Tiger and thus far she's got a divorce lawyer on retainer and Tiger has found him one too. Jesse James was in the same sort of clinic but Sandra told him to go on with his life for nothing was stopping her from filing for divorce. At least she was honest about it. Now I'm not justifying their actions or condemning them. I still believe though things could have worked out better if the media hadn't been dipping into business that wasn't theirs. This was not between these individuals an whold world to judge, this was between these individuals and ONLY these individuals! Nobody else should have been butting in! Now thanks to their persistant meddling two power couples are breaking up their families and the children that they have under their care once again are deprived of a complete family and home. It's truly a shame that these people could have possibly repaired their fractured relations but now are on course for separation whilst these hypcrites sit back pointing the finger in judgement of their actions. You know I can't wait until someone decides to unfold the truth behind the lives of those sitting up condemning Tiger and Jesse for their actions. I'll bet if we look closely into THEIR lives, we'll find some of the same things and maybe for some some REAL skeletons! Their day is coming soon and I just wonder what they'll say when their families along with the rest of the world are made privy to what they're REALLY doing on that 'business' trip out of town. I used to work in a hotel, so I know what they're doing. So rest assured one day, their business will be out in the street too!
